My album “The Poetry of Places” was just nominated for two 2020 GRAMMY Awards®: Best Classical Compendium (for the whole album) and Producer of the Year, Classical (for album producers Marina and Victor Ledin). This CD features world premiere recordings of architecture-inspired works for piano/pianos, toy piano, percussion, voice, and electronics by Andrew Norman, Harold Meltzer, Jack Van Zandt, Hannah Lash, Amy Beth Kirsten, James Matheson, Lewis Spratlan, and Nina C. Young, performed with Joanne Pearce Martin, Cory Hills, and Nick Terry. Recorded at Skywalker Sound by Barry Werger (assistant engineers Dann Thompson and Robert Gatley), mastered by Sean Royce Martin, art direction by JoAnn Nunes, on Steinway & Sons pianos (with technician Larry Lobel), released on Reference Recordings.
