I am honored and thrilled to learn that my album Woman at the New Piano was just awarded a Gold Medal from Global Music Awards in 3 categories: album, classical pianist, and composition/composer (for all 4 composers, Tom Flaherty, James Matheson, Adam Schoenberg, and Peter Yates). So grateful for this award and to the composers above who wrote such amazing music for my CD! I will be performing these works (and 3 world premieres by Lewis Spratlan, Annie Gosfield, and Harold Meltzer) on Oct. 27 at my Piano Spheres recital at REDCAT @ Disney Hall.
